Annual Summer Seminar
Friday and Saturday July 18th & 19th, 2025

This year’s Summer Seminar and Training will be held in Bloomington Indiana at Glenn’s house.

Glenn’s palatial ~3-acre estate (wink wink) has plenty of open space, with or without shade, to train with a pool and central air. In case of weather there is plenty of space to train under cover.
For ZKKR and Oyakata Kobujutsu members there are additional days of training. Monday-Thursday will be open with plenty of 1-1 time with Tasshi. Oyakata Kobujutsu testing can be done during this time at Tasshi’s discretion.
Glenn has some extra bo, jo, tonfa, tanbo, tijikun bo, and kama available. Tasshi will also bring some extra. If you wish to travel light just let Glenn know what you would like available ahead of time to ensure there are enough.
The seminar will have empty hand as well as kobujutsu sessions.

Fly into the Indianapolis Airport (IND) and either rent a car or arrange the shuttle to Bloomington.
Go Express Travel – Use the Hilton Garden Inn – Bloomington stop. Shared ride ~$30 each way. Glenn will pick you up at the Hilton. Text when you are on your way.
Bring your own beverages or buy while you are here.
Breakfast will be at Glenn’s and have a variety of options.
There is room for between 8-12 people at Glenn’s so sign up early. If you stay at a hotel transportation to/from Glenn’s can be arranged. Contact Glenn after registration for the closest hotels.
